ifop CONDEMNED THE 21 OCTOBER BLAST AS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

Vow to Half Mast and Black Base work several days

In an emergency meeting of the ifop in the morning with Dr S R Mangang, ifop President in the chair, the bomb blast is considered as Crime against Humanity. We observed two minutes Silent Condolence for those killed in the blast and prayed in different faiths ‘Peace Prayer’ for the souls to rest in peace. We resolved to keep the flag of the ifop in half mast and to work with black base for 15 days taking into account according to the number of deaths in the terrorist attack (days will increase if the death toll increased).

We, the ifop, do respect any municipal law including that of India, however the State and its government are collectively and solely responsible for any of such crimes ranging from ordinary to heinous crime, like Genocide or Crime against Humanity. The Governor of Manipur who is an Appointed Head of State (AHOS) and the Chief Minister of Manipur, who is an Elected Head of Government (EHOG) are responsible collectively for the Crime against Humanity occurred near the gate of Ragailong Kabui village (Pandon) gate exploded around 7.30 pm. (as per kanglaonline.com).

We thank the unlawful PREPAK for their clarification through the media that they were not involved.

We draw the attention of the Red Cross Society Branch at Imphal to further extend full cooperation to the wounded and injured ones.

We also appeal to the Ibobi Ministry to compensate ‘right time right amount’ according to the prevailing global standard of human values based on international norms of the UNO. We also draw the attention of State Government as well as Central Government of India to resolve the conflict, which has been continuing for fifty years in the region or formulate a yardstick to safe the unarmed innocent masses.
Sir Dayaito Luwang
Secretary General, ifop
